In other words the purpose of the system is to exclude sibyl attacks or to make them impractically expensive. Bots are accounts generated by programs and clones are humans with multiple accounts. The main use case of 6handshakes is to tell humans apart from bots and clones. It is while writing this post that I gained enough confidence to tell it.

This lady could very easily bring it back on a plane to PA, infect her husband (the lawyer), and then pass it along to tons of law clients (such as my parents). I basically told my parents to sign whatever they need to sign and get it done so they don't have to go back. Her mom (the lawyer's wife) was visiting them in Kirkland just days ago and in heavy contact with this nurse. Turns out the lawyer's daughter, whom I remember just as the younger girl down the street growing up, moved across the country to Seattle and her roommate (and best friend) is on the front lines as nurse specifically in Kirkland, Washington. They've been at his office multiple times and just signed the final documents earlier this week.
They're using a lawyer friend down the street they've known for three decades or more. My parents have been in the process of drafting up their will and are in their 60's. For others, you might be closer and it might be a big story on local news in WA, CA, and NY. For a lot of us, the virus is something online and we're only seeing an effect from it in stores perhaps with hand sanitizer and masks.
